The culmination of the Pur Group and WWK’s visit to NYC happened in the west village event space Ramscale Studios. The Ramscale space is located in the Highline District on the West Side Highway. The Studio offers amazing views of lower Manhattan, One World Trade, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and sweeping views of the NJ coastline. Needless to say the picturesque setting was a welcomed locale’ for the international group. The setup for this location posed a bit of a challenge initially. The musicians we had slated for this even were a 3 piece jazz band known as the iScream Trio. The band doesn’t have a large footprint at all but the we were to set up in two different locations. To begin the evening the the group would be on the terrace until sunset at which point they would move to the main room. The main room has a quirky loft bedroom space up a small flight of stairs that overlooks the main space. The location for the band can be described as random at best but given the number of guests at this event, we were left with little choice. The iScream trio handled the complication in stride and and had no problem making the 2 locations work. The very talented saxophonist/vocalist Dani delivered an impactful performance that was received with raucous applause after belting out crowd favorites like Adele’s “Someone Like You” and Whitney’s “Saving all my love” The very receptive audience was also treated to a litany of jazz standards classically provided by Evo and Dimi on the keys and drums respectively. All in the all the pics below tell the story.
