Cathy and Adrian hosted an awesome party at 501 Union in Brooklyn, NY. The Just the Tip Band were fortunate enough to be included in the festivities. Complete with photo booth and late night pizza truck, I think the band was a distant third place when it came to incredible attractions at this wedding.  This was our first show with newly minted keys player Dave .  Dave is a welcomed addition to the group and adds quite a bit of panache.  Dave plays guitar, keys, mandolin, and the pedal steel.  So keep an eye and ear out for Dave at our future shows. The bride and groom chose to share their first dance to Led Zepplin’s “Thank You”.  The band really enjoys playing that tune and works so well for a first dance given the style of the band. Listen up future bride’s and grooms, if your hire a rock band try and choose rock songs for your dance songs.  When the music fits the band, the songs are always better delivered and more powerful.
